As expected, five-star forward Christian Collins of St. John Bosco committed to USC over Kentucky and Louisville. This has been coming for months. The good news is there is a decent chance Collins will stay for more than a year. At the same time, it would be unrealistic to expect Collins to come in and dominate. It’s going to take time. USC won an earl Oscar tonight as Sam A. Davis won in the Best Live Action Short Film catergory for “The Singers.” Davis is a graduate of the USC Cinema School. Makai Lemon ran the 40-yard dash between 4.48-4.53 seconds today at USC’s Pro Day according to Dane Brugler. The discrepancy is normal because NFL scouts always hand-time the 40 and then they will get together and choose a time in that range that is the most popular.
