You want a hot take? I think Oregon was a more dangerous team against USC with Dylan Raiola at QB. Last year, I think Nebraska beats USC if Raiola doesn’t break his leg and I think his ability to pass downfield exploited USC’s biggest weakness on defense last weekend. The Trojans simply cannot defend over the middle or downfield and I think that is Raiola’s … Continue reading Time For A USC-Oregon Hot Take
Does USC have a head coach? It sounds ridiculous but I think it’s a legitimate question. Who is the leader of the program? USC has an offensive coordinator and a defensive coordinator but who is running things overall? When Desman Stephens got ejected from the game, who was in control of the sideline? No one. The reason players were unfocused and celebrating while Dante Moore … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Is Anyone In Charge Of This Program?
Has anyone heard from Chad Bowden? He was narrating hype videos last spring that took shots at Notre Dame and Oregon. Now? Crickets. Let’s dig back: What about Mike Bohn? What about Brandon Sosna? They saddled USC with this ridiculous contract for Lincoln Riley. And not once has either taken accountability. Bohn is missing in action and Sosna is hiding deep within the Washington Commanders … Continue reading When Do We Hear From Architects Of Disaster?
Why can’t USC cover tight ends? Oregon tight end Jamari Johnson was targeted seven times and caught seven passes for 119 yards. He was actually 8 for 8 but a great one-handed catch at the end of the first half was called back for a penalty. Grandpa Patterson doesn’t cover the tight end. Neither did D’Anton Lynn nor Alex Grinch. I first called Lincoln Riley … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Who Is The Fraud Now (Again)?
USC announced it suspended Desman Stephens for one game and released statements from Stephens and Lincoln Riley. So they finally realized how bad this all looked for the program? My question: Who wrote the statement? Continue reading USC Suspends Stephens For One Game

I said last night this was one of the most shameful USC losses I ever witnessed and now I will explain. It had nothing to do with losing to Oregon. That was something I knew had a pretty good chance of happening. No, the shame started with the controversial hit by linebacker Desman Stephens and then USC’s reaction. It all stems from having a gutless … Continue reading My Analysis Of A Leaderless Effort Vs. Oregon
