You know what I like most about the new football building? The elimination of the fanboy media filming the players walking up the ramp from the McKay Center to Howard Jones Field. It was ridiculous having multiple people with their camera phones showing a player walk up a ramp and cross the street to practice. Thankfully, it’s not happening anymore. USC has hired Hayley Elwood … Continue reading Notes: Some Changes For This USC Season
A USC donor offered his experience at the Salute to Troy dinner: I didn’t see Lincoln Riley mingle at all. I think he came from the (football) building directly to the podium (at Loker Stadium). He did the same at the building grand opening ceremony and tour. You have the big contributors for the building sitting outside on the road and when they are ready … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Lincoln Riley Confident Ahead Of Mighty San Jose State

So I’ve had a theory on USC recruiting for this season, especially after Charmin Bowden said the Trojans will take a smaller class of around 15 players, theoretically because he doesn’t believe there are many good prospects. USC reportedly spent at least … Continue reading USC Morning Buzz: Time For A Recruiting Theory
There has been a changing of the guard on the USC post-game show as Su’a Cravens has moved on and will be replaced by Marqise Lee. It just won’t be the same without Cravens having to listen to first caller “Helen of Troy” after every game. Cravens was good because he didn’t mind giving his opinion, even if it was critical of USC after the … Continue reading A Changing Of Guard On Post-Game Show
