Despite some heavy rain at times, Sam Darnold’s Pro Day was an unqualified success. For comparison, I felt it was better than Matt Leinart or Matt Barkley’s Pro Day at USC. USC tailback Ronald Jones and wide receiver Deontay Burnett did not run the 40 or participate in the morning athletic testing on Cromwell Field. Jones injured his hamstring at the NFL Combine.
