- USC is going to send linebackers Cameron Smith and Porter Gustin to Pac-12 media day in July.
This is unusual because each school is supposed to bring an offensive and defensive player.
Is the offense that bereft of talent? What about four-year starter Toa Lobendahn?
Why not bring quarterback JT Daniels? Everyone wants to talk to him. And no one at USC shoots down he will be the starter eventually. But it probably cannot be so bold as to spotlight Daniels before he participates in a practice.
- USC might as well just recruit the entire St. John Bosco team. The Trojans offered Class of 2020 WR Kris Hutson during today’s camp.
USC also offered tight end Jack Yary of Murrieta Valley, the son of Ron Yary, who won the Outland Trophy at USC.
