Cameron Smith Named USC MVP

It probably says something about the season that linebacker Cameron Smith could miss two games and play only eight snaps against Utah but still was named USC’s most valuable player Wednesday night.

There was no player of the game awards vs. UCLA or Notre Dame. In the past, USC would give out this award even if it lost the game. But not any more.

  1. I can see why Cameron Smith won the MVP. He didn’t get arrested for sodomizing another player’s girlfriend or carjacking this year! Doesn’t take much to be MVP at southern cal! According to sources Osa Masina was runner up to MVP the year he drugged and sodomized another player’s girlfriend.

  2. Not that ESECPN is the “know it all” in sports, but they just put up a list of their Top 50 college players of 2018. No USC player in sight.
