Laiatu Latu, a four-star defensive end from Carmichael, Calif., selected Washington over USC tonight.
He seemed like someone USC could actually get despite its recruiting struggles this season.
“I’m super glad Coach Helton is staying because he truly is a good coach and a good person,” Latu said.
He would have been the fourth four-star for the recruiting class. As I write this, there are literally crickets chirping from the USC recruiting pundit crowd. Maybe there is a pundit who can’t comment because they don’t have twitter and the news hasn’t hit their pager.
UW was waiting for this emend if they lose Turner to Notre Dame . Have increased their pass rush ability and ties to Hawaii
