Watch the body language and tone and tell me you feel like John Baxter is doing some self-reflection on what needed to be fixed with USC special teams after season.

How would anyone know? Once again, brilliant commentary from Scott. He better hope that old man never meet up with him in a dark alley.

I have to admit, I can’t really see the body language, etc. that Scottie is talking about. Seems like a reasonable interview by Weber, and reasonable answers by Baxter.

67 —here’s a case where I’m afraid Scott was see Baxter through his own filter.
Sidebar: I think this Australian kid is going to be one of the best things we have going for us in 2019….

MG – right on about the Aussie. I think he somewhere around 6’6″, 230. We will probably only have him for 1 year – I believe he is turning 26 or 27.

Yep. 1 year. [This season, in spite of everything, has the potential to be something special, though].

Wow where are the global warming guys? 17 hour flight for an Australian kicker? And wasn’t he a pro? How does that work with the NCAA?

I can’t speak for the body language, cause I don’t see it. But listening to his answers he does come off as an arrogant condescending prick. But I might also be influenced by the several staff and athletic department staff members that have also said the same thing about this particular coach.

Let’s just say his smart ass certitude USUALLY outdistances his on the field results. (Although the fake that led to the Pittman TD in the UCLA game and the Washington State blocked field goal were things of beauty).
