USC All-American offensve lineman Pete Adams has passed away, according Nick Canepa of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Adams was a first round of the Cleveland Browns in 1973. As the picture shows, Adams had a dog that would accompany him to games and practices. The picture above is from the 1973 Rose Bowl.
The dog would run wind sprints at the end of practices with Adams. He would introduce it to female students on campus, who would say it was cute and ask its name? “Turd,” Adams would reply.
Yeah now there’s a ‘fact’ someone would want to be remembered for …. what a fool this guy must have been.

Rusoviet,
When you are All American and a first round draft choice, you might have some leeway. He might have had some of the Tim Rossevich thinking rubbed off onto him.
