When Derryck Thornton transferred from Duke, there was a lot of excitement. But after a couple years at USC, it was easy to see why he left the Blue Devils.
Now he is leaving USC as a graduate transfer. Thornton averaged 7.7 points, 4.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds last season but Elijah Weaver looked good at the end of last season and USC is bringing in point guard Kyle Sturdivant next season.
Thornton is not the first USC player to play for three schools. Katin Reinhardt went to UNLV, USC and Marquette.

Man, I wonder what Murray Bartow knew of what his father thought about ‘the peckerwood’? Suddenly that gutless wonder JD Morgan has to interact with his ‘massah’ and the peckerwood’s – Sam Gilbert. Must have been something to remember watching Morgan’s fear rising as Gene Bartow told him what Gilbert: was, had personally threatened him with murder, why the demi-god ‘peckerwood the 1st, permit this for so long?
