Four-star wide receiver Mookie Cooper of St. Louis committed to Ohio State over USC, Texas and Miami today.
Ohio State, minus Urban Meyer, already had three of the nation’s top 16 receivers for the Class of 2020 before Copper committed, including Julian Fleming, who is ranked No. 1 by Rivals.
- Jack Lovrich, who played on USC’s 1954 NCAA Final Four basketball team and 1955 College World Series baseball squad, died July 2 of natural causes in Torrance. He was 85.
A memorial service will be held on Aug. 2 at 3 p.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Palos Verdes.

WR is one position I don’t worry about. USC is guaranteed to get one 5 star every other year from SoCal.

2 of those wideouts will enter the transfer portal in about two years.

Clay Helton is known for turning a 5 star WR recruit into a 2 star finished product.
