The USC-Arizona game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 and be televised by the Pac-12 Network. This is also Homecoming.
So it’s a night game for alumni returning to campus. More importantly, Arizona will either be in first place in the Pac-12 South or tied with USC at 2-1 in the South for this game.
And it will be on the Pac-12 Network?!?!?
Unbelievable. If USC loses to Notre Dame, how many fans won’t even try to find someone who gets the Pac-12 Network?
How many fans will watch Pac 12 Network for USC/Arizona?

Television has spoiled going to the games. There was a time when most games were not televised, you had to go to the game itself, and it would last 3 hours. Today with t.v. commercials, the games are lucky to be finished within 3 1/2 hours.
And these staggered starting times, especially night time kickoffs, is for the birds. Football was meant to be played by daylight, but now only the good teams get those premiere spots.

5 out of 7 games have been played at night. Fresno St., Stanford, Utah, Nd, and UofA, plus there are five more games that can be. This is horrible.
