Former USC Assistant Going To UNLV

Former USC defensive line coach Chad Kauha’aha’a is going to UNLV according to multiple reports.

Kauha’aha’a was only at USC for one season and then a victim of the fact Clay Helton didn’t care if any of his defensive assistants were fired by new defensive coordinator Todd Orlando.

Kauha’aha’a might have a different view of the popular assumption Helton is a “nice guy” and “man of character.”

  • Indiana QB Peyton Ramsey has transferred to Northwestern. That probably crosses the Wildcats off the list for Jack Sears, who visited Northwestern last week.

  1. Unless you’re trying to make a name for yourself as a young up and coming coach, then why in the hell would someone leave Utah to join Clay Helton’s staff ?

  2. I wish Coach Kawabunga the very best at UNLV, Lower Virginia is a great place to coach.

In the meantime, I hope he realizes that his time here at USC was important to everyone – including me.

    Gonna miss coach K!
