USC Will Play In Empty Arenas At NCAA Tournament

The NCAA Tournament is going to be held in empty arenas with only essential personnel.

Has anyone seen how empty arenas are for NCAA games anyways?

This is good for USC because it is used to playing in a near-empty arena.

“It’s terrible, energy is gonna be off, everyone I talked to is pretty upset about it,” USC forward Nick Rakocevic said. “It’s just not going to be as fun. But I understand why they did it.”

“I feel like the fans make the tournament hence the ‘March Madness,’ and without the fans, it’s just going to be like a practice,” USC guard Jonah Mathews said.

  1. Slowing down the spread of the outbreak is critical (limiting crowd gatherings, crowd size) as this allows the healthcare system time to care for patients. A longer outbreak is better than large outbreak as a large would put too big of a strain on the system.

  3. The games will be televised but with no fans? Ok got it. Now we’ll get to hear how Andy Enfield interacts with his team throughout the game because the voices should sound clear for tv with no crowd. Pressure time for Andy Enfield to show people he is a good college basketball coach.
