USC has received a commitment from Rice guard/forward Drew Peterson.
The 6-8 sophomore led Rice in rebounds per game (6.5) and assists per game (3.5) and averaged 11.1 points per game.
Now Peterson is a sophomore. So will he be eligible next season? Depends on what NCAA does later this month. Or if he can get a waiver from Rice.
If Evan Mobley is a one-and-done, USC might have two transfers (Peterson, Joshua Morgan) who not be eligible to play with him.
