USC Morning Buzz: Winners And Losers Of The Week

WINNERS

Voluntary workouts

Why are they called voluntary workouts? The players don’t exactly have a choice to attend.

Recruiting

Two more commitments (Michael Jackson, Miller Moss) last week. How bad was the previous staff?

USC protest

A good-size crowd held a peaceful protest Saturday morning. But some students wondered why Carol Folt or top administrators didn’t show up?

LOSERS

Offensive line

No grad transfers, apparently. That’s good news for the current linemen who want playing time. But maybe not the best news for the quarterbacks.

USC basketball

Oklahoma State sanctions could be an ominous sign . . . for Andy Enfield.

Clancy Pendergast

Didn’t want to recruit at USC and NFL teams didn’t exactly rush to hire him.

Quarterbacks

It’s going to be hard for them as teams try to keep their most important players from getting the coronavirus. They will need to be more isolated from teammates and the QBs must keep a distance from themselves so you don’t get two quarterbacks who need to be quarantined.

    1. Was he actually at the protest as a speaker or just mouthing PC BS on his smart phone to appease the simpleminded? Did he even write that tweet or did USC President Carol Burnett write it for him? I just got’s to know!

      1. You’re of the Murderous Moderate Democrat Rioters. You must watch Oprah tonight and Wednesday preach to us about the evils of White Privilege from her $165 million mansion in Montecito. Oh how she has suffered from this evil country!

    1. Of course they will , they’ll pickup right where they left off against Iowa … lmao 😂 But I guess all Tim Drevno has to do is wave his magic wand , and coach them up 😂😂😂😂😂😂

    2. Sir – stop smoking those funny cigarettes- the offensive line has no chance to be good enough, the best we can hope for is being adequate period. Please remember what Iowa did against us with a first round draft choice. This year has the potential for catastrophic results if Slovis gets hurt, the cupboards are bare. Tim Drevno will be the next fired coach. How much film study will Nick Saban have for the front seven of Alabama’s defense. My friend does Slovis even make through the entire Alabama game unscathed? That is truly our reality on a potential successful season.
