The USC Daily: Healthy Outlook For Arizona State Game

Clay Helton said Drake Jackson (hamstring), Vavae Malepeai (hamstring), Markese Stepp (foot) and Kana’i Mauga (hamstring) will be available against Arizona State.

It might rain Saturday so Helton said USC will practice with wet footballs.

  • Kedon Slovis, Amon-ra St. Brown, Tyler Vaughns, Alijah Vera-Tucker, Drake Jackson, and Talanoa Hufanga are first-team picks on the preseason All-Pac-12 team.
  • Ben Griffiths was named to the second team. Isaiah Pola-Mao, Brandon Pili, Marlon Tuipulotu and Olaijah Griffin were honorable mention picks.
  • USC basketball will play BYU in the first round of the Legends Classic at the Mohegan Sun Tournament on Dec. 3. The Trojans will then play either UConn or Vanderbilt.

  1. Great news on injury recoveries, hope they make good decisions in how to use these guys. I recall Porter Gustin came back way too soon and had to have another surgery on his foot when a screw snapped.
