Is There An Energy Gap At USC?

Did you hear Fox sideline reporter Jenny Taft note the USC sideline had little emotion during the fourth quarter vs. Arizona?

Well, I’ve heard the pre-game emotion level was pretty low too.

I figured Todd Orlando would yell enough to fire up the team. But who knows with the new staff?

Every time I see Clay Helton speak to the team, it rings false, so I’m not sure if there is an energy gap.

  • USC nominated punter Ben Griffiths to be Pac-12 special teams player of the week.

What do you expect, the players know that the coaching staff is for shit.

Why these 4 and 5 star recruits keep coming to SC and having Clay Helton waste their so called talent is anyone’s guess.

Maybe the Trojan players like ice cream and pillow fight practices…who knows.

  2. Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush and all the other Trojan alumni players know Helton is a third rate coach at best, they should be lobbying for USC to hire a head coach that knows what the hell he’s doing.
