Larry Scott Remains Delusional

Larry Scott is having his Pac-12 championship game press conference today and said this about the next TV rights deal:

“We’re sitting on a lot of untapped growth in our value. . . . When our rights come up, like we did in 2011, we’re going to catch up to the other leagues, maybe even leapfrog some leagues.”

Who will the Pac-12 leapfrog? The SEC? The Big Ten? The Big 12?

I think they will leapfrog the Mountain West.

Scott was asked if the Pac-12 did everything it could to help USC in the College Football Playoff conversation:

“I certainly feel like we’re doing everything we can.”

He did give USC a non-division game vs. Washington State.

  1. Larry speaks like the snake oil salesman that he is.

    Pac 12 network reaches about 17 million homes. Big 10 network reaches about 60 million homes. That is not leapfrogging, that would be scaling Mount Everest.

      Well this IS interesting. I am not sure if this site is for me anymore. Each email address used generates a unique symbol that represents the email address. One person on this page has 10 such symbols generated for his username. That is some next level trolling. And none of messages upon this thread has anything to do with the the purpose of the thread. It has developed into a prepubescent name calling.

  5. As I have posted several times on this Blog, Larry Scott has been playing the “When the rights come up, You’ll really need me at that time” Card since he got hired. Problem is the Conference has been run into the ground so deeply that there will be nothing of great value to sell. When will these University Presidents wake up and call BS on this clown?

  8. The game of leapfrog is dangerous. Yes it is! Two kindergartners were caught buttfucking behind the bushes on the playground. When asked what they were doing the kid in back said, “we’re playing leapfrog by the rules.” The teacher insidted, ” where did you learn these rules? ” And the kid answered, “Fuck You’s mom.”
    So you see leapfrog is dangerous. Almost as dangerous as having more than one screen name.
