My Heisman Vote

Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith became the first wide receiver to win the Heisman Trophy in 29 years.

The last wide receiver to win was Desmond Howard, who won the award in 1991.

Who did I vote for? I usually look for someone unique like when I voted for LSU safety Tyrann Mathieu.

But this year, it was pretty clear to me the best player was Smith, so I voted for him.

Mac Jones, the Alabama QB, should have finished ahead of Trevor Lawrence.

  1. Yep, Smith had a great season. Note that #5 in the award, Najee Harris, stayed for his senior year at ‘Bama. Would he have had he been a Trojan?

      1. Michael, all we can do is hope about Bohn. Maybe he is the guy who will keelhaul Clay. (Sticking with the sailor theme tonight…)

      2. Ah! The “keelhaul scene”! Always the highpoint of any remake of “Mutiny on the Bounty”……

      3. ’67… the right time to kee-haul Helton was yesterday, today or tomorrow. Nevertheless, just to make sure that Bohn is always aware of the fanbase’s feelings #BoycottTrjanGames&Gear until he finally does the deedand hires a HC who is fulllly capable of taking the team to a Naty. None of this Pac12 Southern Division Champions bullshit [It amy be acceptable at all other Pac12 schoos but it’s not acceptable here].

      4. Dr. Evil – you are right, yesterday was too late. We’ve been suffering with the village idiot for nearly 6 years.

    2. Roll Tide. Bama had the best QB, RB, & Wide Receiver for 2020.
St. Brown should take the cue from Smith and come back for
      his senior year.
