JT Daniels Expected To Enter Transfer Portal

Just as expected, Georgia quarterback JT Daniels is expected to enter the transfer portal, according to a published report.

Maybe he can go to Georgia Southern.

  • USC dropped to No. 16 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 basketball poll.

      1. I honestly keep waiting for the “In surprise move, Carol Folt jumps to Presidency Of Santa Barbara Community College” Headline….

  1. J. T. is good. But he does suffer from certain mechanical problems —especially on the easy, short stuff. Another year under Clay’s tutelage could fix that.

      1. sorry Michael. His arm really isn’t that strong. The majority of his TDs as a frosh were under thrown balls to Pittman and the master bailed him out. Also go watch the second half of the ucla game. Looked like he was throwing the game. My point is…he doesn’t even have a strong arm…leadership skills…mobility…patience in the pocket…or heart.

      2. Vault —Can we judge J. T. by the UCLA game? (The whole team quit after Cal —what with Toa alternately dribbling the ball on the ground or snapping 30 feet over the QB’s head and Helton declaring that he had fallen in love) …..

  2. Jed FISHERMAN FISH would have loved to take him at Arizona he takes all the rejects, but he already caught another fish in the WSU qb.

I see Daniels transferring to Cal or Washington who need a QB……maybe Colorado or San Diego St or Ol Miss if Kiffin doesn’t land Dart.

I still say the portal is a great short term fix for many programs, but in the long run it will ruin college football unless you make the kids sit out a year unless there are unusual circumstances like a family illness etc.

    1. The portal is an unmixed blessing —but only for fans who don’t mind not being able to recognize their team from one year to the next…

    2. I’m sorry Tommy.
JT will not be headed to Cal.

And he’s going to have a problem just about anywhere. The college game and pro game requires, 1) an arm, 2) a brain, 3) wheels. One out of three is not enough.

  3. IT’S OFFICIAL = CHEESEBURGER CHIP HAS HIRED TIM DREVNO AS HIS NEW OFFENSIVE LINE COACH.

PERHAPS- CHEESBURGER CHIP WILL CONTINUE TO BE LOYAL TO FORMER USC LOSER ASSISTANT COACHES, AND MAKE CLANCY PEDERGAST HIS NEW DEFENSIVIVE COORDINATOR, AND DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL RECRUITING.

LOOKS TO ME LIKE CHIP is in awe of USC football as time and time again he hires our ex coaches, and loves to take transfers from USC. Many Bruin fans like OWNS in reality follow USC program so closely because there is not much to grab their attention year in and year out with UCLA football.

    1. Riley doesn’t want players who don’t have “the right mindset”? Players who “don’t buy into the program”? How on earth does that apply to Mister Wonderful, Hunter Echols? Have we come to the point wherein a guy is gonna get punished simply for taking every other play off? For over-celebrating minor stops? Or slow walking off the field and changing a field goal against us into a touchdown?

      1. he had so much potential. You’d like to think these kids have tremendous self-discipline, but the village idiot can kill even the strongest mindsets.

    2. Here’s Michigan State’s Transfer Portal breakdown in 2021. USC in 2022 is comparable and based on the MSU model should add a flood of incoming transfers post Spring Practice.

      Outgoing
      End of 2020 – 13 players
      Pre Spring Practice – 4
      Post Spring Practice – 10
      Total – 27

      Incoming
      Spring Enrollees – 6
      Post Spring Practice – 13
      Total – 19
      New Recruits – 14

  4. He should have never gone to Georgia in the first place. He needs to go to a place where he will be sure to play. You don’t get better sitting on the bench.

  5. Riley is bringing in quality talent- size and speed. He could care less about competing with UCLA they have never won a national championship in football, and other than Jackie Robinson and 1 Heisman Trophy winner in Gary Beban why recruit against a team that can’t even win a Pac 12 South Championship. UCLA Football is dead another starting wide receiver Chad Cota entered the Portal Today perhaps the Bruins should switch to the Mountain West conference where they can remain competitive, and get some fans to attend some games. The only thing that school is doing right is not hiring Graham Harrell as their “running game coordinator”

We love you Chip Kelly at SC. Keep eating those “free cheeseburgers” at UCLA all paid in full by the State of California.

    1. well, sorta’ correct…guess you never saw or read about those bruin teams in the 50’s…SC beat them 1 time, 1952 team. They had all americans there yearly under Red Sanders…always ranked in top 10. Pretty sporadic since then.

  6. BREAKING NEWS- TRAVIS DYE OREGON STARTING RUNNING BACK IS TRANSFERRING TO USC.

LOOKS LIKE THE ENTIRE PAC 12 IS SURRENDING TO THE THE LINCOLN RILEY REGIME AT USC……..AND OWNS JUST MIGHT BE THE NEXT TO TRANSFER HIS LOYALTIES FROM CHEESEBURGER U to the TROJANS.

Riley is on a roll………..I hear early this week Caleb Williams will enroll, and all we need now is a couple of more offensive and defensive lineman, and two linebackers. If this happens ……….look out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      1. ditch those rose colored glasses, and hope for Pac12 title…good linemen …not Georgia Bama linemen level…that’s what wins ncaa title + the other things you mention…I am not sure Williams is the q/b you think he is ,and he is a 1 and done if as good as you think.

      1. Oddly, Dye was not that big of a get coming outta high school —but he more than proved himself at Oregon …a diamond in the rough….very good speed (under 4.5) and runs with a shitload of determination….

  7. DYE…IS IN THE WORKS I am told it is pretty much a done deal he wants to come home, and not confident the Oregon offense will be the same with a defensive coordinator now the head coach.

Good speed, Good receiver, Great Lateral Movement and Vision.
USC should have a very explosive offense next season with alot more speed………

Sure would love to see former Prep All-American Linebacker Justin Flowe from Upland, CAcome home also from Oregon. This is another recruit we missed out on, and we are very thin at Inside Linebacker. He missed most of last season, and as of today is not in the transfer portal.

  8. JT trying to transfer once for each of the recruiting stars he was given? Old enough to remember how JT was the savior and that I was an idiot for saying Jack Sears was better. I do respect your evolution on the topic though.
