Lincoln Riley Remembers Dave Nichol

USC coach Lincoln Riley spoke today about assistant coach Dave Nichol. “Just a really, really difficult day (Friday),” Riley said. “We’ll definitely miss him more than you’ll imagine.” “As you can imagine a lot of emotion with the guys and certainly the staff members that were close to Dave. “There’s a strong possibility I wouldn’t be in college coaching without him.” Riley said this about … Continue reading Lincoln Riley Remembers Dave Nichol

Saturday Buzz: A History Lesson For USC

I’m not sure who decides at USC what players to highlight from the past. But this is a dubious social media post. Nichol had coached at Mississippi State, Washington State, East Carolina, Arizona, Baylor and Texas Tech. He … Continue reading USC Assistant Coach Dave Nichol Dies

Gone. … Continue reading If It’s Friday, It’s Time For A USC Notes Column

USC Has 20th Player Enter Transfer Portal

Ty Buchanan, a redshirt freshman offensive lineman, is in the transfer portal. He is third USC offensive lineman to enter the portal, joining Casey Collier and Liam Douglass. Buchanan and Collier were part of that group of Texas recruits that Graham Harrell and Co. focused so hard on because they couldn’t get players from Southern California. And for people who think USC needed to wait … Continue reading USC Has 20th Player Enter Transfer Portal
