USC Morning Buzz: Another Test For A Lineman

The next big test for USC securing an offensive lineman comes Monday when four-star offensive tackle Lucas Simmons of Clearwater, Fla., makes his decision.

Simmons is also considering Florida, Florida State and Tennessee. He visited USC last month during its bonanza recruiting weekend. So did Francis Mauigoa, who committed to Miami earlier this week.

Does Simmons want to play in the Big Ten?

  1. No highly rated offensive linemen will commit to USC until Lincoln Riley proves that he can coach physical football. His history speaks for itself, because his Oklahoma Sooners were constantly manhandled by playoff teams .

    1. History?! Pfffft! According to Joe & Nancy history is what they say it is.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” ― George Orwell, 1984

Don’t forget, Joe said no one who has had 220K die on his watch should be President. The number who have died on Joe’s watch is approaching 700K. So that standard no longer applies, (i.e. he never said that). And don’t you dare question it!

You stupid senile sack of shit, for 18 months Biden preached to the anti-vaxxers to get the shots. So, why would he be responsible for their stupidity?

Get educated, I can’t do it for you.

      2. LOL! Yes, she’ll make excuses, as usual.

Funny to hear about all the Dims who are turning on Dementia Man. Unlike our pal, they fully admit things are going horribly. (As if we didn’t know in 2019 that this is exactly how it would go.)

P.S. Having a bitch of a time finding 20GA shotshells in #3 or bigger. Gonna have to go visit Cal in AZ.

      3. Fuck you!…. You wouldn’t be popping off if we were face to face…Typical coward, hiding behind his keyboard while marinating in a three-day-old diaper. Tell your handler, it’s senior abuse to leave the diaper soiled….. Karma, you earned it!

      1. Steveg…. If you want some peace and order around here, tell slo cal to focus on subject matter related to USC.

If he wants to talk shit, I will continue to slap him around like a pinata. I know the bantering between slo cal and I, is wearing thin with you.

    3. That has nothing to do with it. The problem is that USC does not have a collective and wont pay millions of dollars to linemen. The NIL opportunities for skill players offsets the lack of a collective. But linemen are the unsung heroes and their real NIL value is much lower than a skill player. The most aggressive collectives are places that are on the list of these top players, Tennessee, Miami. Miami has one of the dirtiest money programs out there. They bought Mauigoia. Oregon is another dirty money program. Bought Conerly. Plain and simple.

Lincoln Riley should tell Bohn that they need a collective, right now, that will match the deals in place elsewhere. USC only needs to be on par.

    4. He never had the talent at Oklahoma that he will have at SC. But I’ll admit that when it comes to O-Line and D-Line recruits, he’s not doing as well as CH did in 2015-2017. It was starting in 2018 when the well ran dry and CH was not able to bring in any real good O or D linemen. If LR is going to win big, his success at bringing in those big uglies will have to change because he is not doing it right now.

    5. I believe there’s a very good chance it’s a matter of money. Our NIL people aren’t coming up with million dollar offers (or $500k?) to these top rated high school lineman and they appear to be following the money. Surprise.

  2. Eventually LR will pull in a 4 and 5 star lineman, then what will these naysayers use. Will they blame everything on the upcoming travel in 2024? Or the cold conditions?

    1. Love the happy laughter on this track—wanna hear lots of that coming from the Trojan side of the stands when Caleb is pitching TD’s against UCLA & Notre Dame.
