Did Tennessee Fans Get USC To Act On Bru McCoy?

Tennessee fans have been complaining about USC’s alleged lack of action regarding the eligibility of wide receiver Bru McCoy with a social media campaign aimed at Mike Bohn and Lincoln Riley.

Any USC fan could attest that the university moves at its own speed when it comes to doing business, especially involving an athlete who faced any type of disciplinary action.

Well, the Vols fans’ actions might have paid off.

Outkick Sports reports “sources say that USC has now started to participate in the NCAA waiver process.”

USC released this statement to Outkick:

“USC has – consistently with NCAA rules – promptly and accurately responded to all requests from the University of Tennessee related to the eligibility of Bru McCoy. At no point since Bru entered the transfer portal in January have we objected to him being made immediately eligible to play at Tennessee. The issue of Bru’s eligibility ultimately rests with the NCAA, and we wish him the very best.”

    1. Went to Texas, transferred back to USC, said to be health issues, then the girlfriend issues which seemed to be a Fatal Attraction thing. Maybe but I’m not sure you can draw that conclusion. USC TitleIX didn’t help Bru at all.

  4. It would be nice to see a full season for Bru McCoy. He’s been crapped on by too many incidents to expect a pro career based on his sporadic ball so far. Tennessee will find out if he’s a stud or just another two by four for the bench.

Boy is that an understatement. As a USC fan I think that they deliberately go out of their way to force a player to transfer so that he won’t be too old to play by the time they get around to doing something. SC needs to take all that power away from these Title IX student conduct committees filled with a bunch of Feminazi’s who hate men and especially hate football because it is a mans sports with no womens football team to have some balance.

    1. It really is amazing that 81M were dumb enough to think that an 80 year old with dementia was the answer to all of our problems.

      At all of these food bank lines, Biden voters should have to go to the back of the line. They voted for all of this. Not to mention the lives in Afghanistan, Ukraine and soon in Taiwan that have been lost as a result of their decision.

        For 25 years I was paid money to advocate for one side (the State of California …and, later, the United States) while another attorney got paid money to advocate for the other side (the Criminal Defendant). I watched sharp defense attorneys confuse the hell out of juries. That was their job. My job was to undo the damage. Most of the time (well —why be modest? — almost all of the time) I succeeded.       7. So Cal –I’m SO used to hearing “the other side” make a case out of nothing. That was my whole life for 25 years —watching enterprising young attorneys fashion defenses for sexual offenders, corrupt politicians, thieving employers, etc. I’m no longer surprised by how well some advocates can work with nothing —and Biden presents the biggest challenge any advocate ever faced.

They are irrelevant and have been for some time as well as pac 12 (or big 12 or independent ND which i recall manti teo and his imaginary girlfriend) that’s why they are joining Big10 which is equally irrelevant. If a school is not in the SEC they are not in he top conference and coukd only wish they were and it doesn’t even matter which sport we’d like to talk about. If I were an athlete there is only one conference I would consider even if the only school that offered was vanderbilt. As far as UT being inbreed, I believe the Haslams have been governor of Tennessee, own the pilot truck stops, the cleveland browns as well as Nashville predators. Pretty good for being inbred. I guess Peyton manning is inbred as well. We r conservative republicans and don’t fall for the liberal democratic left wing lying false media bull crap that is being fed to the real American people thats ruining this great country. #let’s go brandon.
