Tales From Heritage Hall

Remember I spoke about morale at Heritage Hall last week.

I hear Ed Stewart, the new Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director who came from the Big 12, is supposed to have a big meeting with many departments to smooth out feelings of ill will toward the recruiting dept.

“People don’t want to help the recruiting dept.,” a senior official said. “They are driving people up a tree. There’s plenty of bad feelings. It’s pretty bad right now. People who willing to help them before don’t want to now after dealing with them.”

Like I said last week, with an impending move to the Big Ten and lots of cash coming, morale should be good. But it’s not.

  4. There are a lot of professors and administrators who think they are poorly paid who are all making 6 figure salaries for doing nothing. Actually, it would be great if they did nothing. That way they don’t damage our kids by teaching Critical Race Theory and 1619 historical revision and 50-100 genders and queer theory and trans theory and a man can have a baby and hate america and how socialism and communism is the greatest economic theory ever. It just drives them crazy to see what they consider to be dumb jocks(athletes) and ex-dumb jocks(coaches) making 10 times what they make. The truth is that you will learn more about life on the football field than you would ever learn in some of those classes. This wouldn’t happen down south and in the midwest. In those places, people love their college football and if these education elites start to complain, they will find themselves shining shoes for a living. The problem is with the education elites. I have been saying that for years.

    1. Oh, it’s hard to predict turnovers? How about predicting officiating? If all Washington State has to do is throw into the end zone every time they get to our 30 yard line….and wait for an interference call…. then, yes, it’ll be hard to cover.
