    1. No anonymous poster who seems unusually fetched by George Carlin’s “7 Bad Words” has ever swayed anybody’s opinion on anything….

      1. btw, why all the focus on a great player who more than earns his keep every game? Our useless A. D., Mike Bohn, was seen crying after the game too…. and he was wearing lipstick and a padded bra…

    2. It’s breast cancer awareness month, dumb ass. Some folks where pink to bring attention to the cause. Caleb Williams is a bit more creative than most. Before worrying about a reply, perhaps you should think about why you wouldn’t want him to bring attention to a cause that could assist your mom, sister, wife, or daughter.

  2. It is encouraging to see the voters have recognized CW even though he lost this weekend. The nails were done in support of a worthy cause, but I cannot remember what it was. I think it was something to do with cancer.

      1. Caleb is a class act all the way down the line. The loss ain’t his fault.
        Sorry about your mom, smackyd.

  3. btw, After he led the team down the field for the lead with 5 minutes to go, Caleb was practically begging the defense to start tackling on Utah’s next drive. They tried —they just weren’t big or strong enough to stop Rising on that last run. Contrary to popular opinion I think our guys will have an easier time bringing own DTR.

  4. I still think SC is a year away when it comes to talking national championships. But Caleb Williams has a superstar level talent. Some of the bullets he throws(many times moving backward off of his back foot) amaze me and those throws are right on the money. He has to be more consistent. Sometimes he misses throws. But some of the throws he makes makes me think…..there’s not too many people who can make that throw.
Plus, he not only has 4.5 speed but he’s got unbelievable accelleration. He can go from zero to 60 in a nanosecond. In the Neiland Nudge play, he should have been sacked. The D-Lineman was within an inch of grabbing his jersey(watch the film sometime). All of a sudden he just took off and he was gone.

  5. #TuckerCarlson: Boston Hospital and #VanderbiltMed et al mutilating young girls with highly-profitable trans-gender double mastectomies. Gabby go! Discredit TuckerCarlson and green light the rest of us. Also all the other fake dem commenters on the SW blog.

I know that this is really you saying this. You have you picture. With a lot of the rest of these guys, I’m not sure it’s them or the imposter.

  6. Sounds like a sound investment in this market. I almost died from laughing about Notre Dame. Their supporters are terrified about losing to Syracuse! I’m betting the kids’ future tuition on the Orange for that game! They also know that the end of the year recruiting trip against USC will be a nightmare. Freeman won’t be back unless he beats Clemson at home.

  7. Saw the game in person. Since then, watched the game on tape.

Yep, both roughing calls were silly. We either need to (1) change the rules to two hand touch for quarterbacks or (2) change the rules so that intentional grounding is called whenever it’s clear that the quarterback is just throwing it away, or (3) stop throwing flags for mere contact a millisecond after the quarterback releases the ball. The QB’s are getting pretty good at WWF style flying backwards after the slightest push.

On the other hand, you gotta hand it to Utah. (1) The crowd was absolutely rocking, (2) they found the Achilles heel (inability to cover the tight end) and relentlessly used it over and over (and I thought the Achilles heel would be stopping the running backs, so very surprised there), (3) Wittingham shouldn’t have gone home after the game; should have gone straight to vegas (4th down conversions to extend drives, converted 4th and goal, and then converted two point conversion; talk about defeating the odds), and (4) while the crowd was loud and a good home field advantage, so was the altitude (our guys were visibly huffing and puffing more so than their guys–not saying our guys are out of shape–just saying altitude is something you can simulate in practice).

No, the team didn’t play perfectly (some missed assignments and some really stupid holding–why tug on the jersey when you know the refs are looking to make that call–and the coaches completely mismanaged the timeouts at the end. Utah started 4th and goal with 2:30 on the clock. We had 3 timeouts; there’s no way we should have started the final drive under a minute.

All that stated, the team fought like I haven’t seem them fight in years. We can get better, we can improve, but man, Riley, Caleb Williams, Travis Dye, et al, have really changed the trajectory of the program. The season isn’t over, so we’ll see how things turn out. Anybody worried about Utah on a neutral field if we meet up for the championship? If you don’t have season seats, buy them them now, because the program is going places. The next few years should be awfully fun.
