Here’s a warning from USC for those coming to the Cal game on Saturday.
“USC fans will be able to access parking lots at Expo Park beginning at 1 p.m. Parking for USC fans will also be available on campus beginning at 1:30 p.m. LAFC fans will not be allowed to park on campus prior to their match, so we do not anticipate interruptions to campus parking.”
Remember this is homecoming. Some people come in the morning (even for a night game) because there are tents are all over campus from organizations and sports teams and a lot of set up is required. Are they not allowed on campus before 1:30 p.m.? Who knows.
All of this is because the MLS Cup is taking place Saturday at 1 p.m. at the soccer stadium next to the Coliseum. No parking for the soccer game will be allowed at USC or Exposition Park.
Heaven forbid they move the MLS Cup to Sunday. Can’t compete with the NFL.
