The US spent over $60 billion on Ukraine last year. The goal seems to be give Ukraine just enough military hardware to stay competitive in the war. Perhaps US is betting on an early death for Putin? I don’t understand spending at this level without a clear path to accomplishing what is desired.

Yes, but still a poor defense and lackluster recruiting when it comes to the trenches. Still can’t depend on USC to show up for big games. And while you did have a better season under stinkin Lincoln, your school still found a way to end the season with 2 embarrassing losses on national TV. I agree that DTR literally “threw” that game away. Our defense got lucky [in that one game] —we lost the other 2 shootouts against Utah and Tulane cuz their QB’s didn’t make fatal mistakes on their last drives.
We don’t have to improve THAT much on defense. All we need this season is a defense that can get an occasional stop …and the offense will do the rest. But even ONE stop per half may be more than Grinch can produce.
