USC didn’t waste any time trying to exploit the commitment of Bronny James on Saturday.

Will James actually increase attendance significantly? It will be a good test of whether USC will ever be able to sell tickets in basketball.
Apparently, having the No. 1 recruit in the nation (Isaiah Collier) won’t do it judging by USC’s lack of promotion regarding him. But LeBron James’ son? No promotion will be enough!
Never forget: The bar is really, really low on USC basketball attendance.
The Trojans averaged 4,021 fans last season. During the 2016-17 season, when USC set a school-record for victories (26), the Trojans averaged 4,625 fans.
Bronny should be able to do much better than that, especially if LeBron is sitting courtside like at Sierra Canyon games.
It’s going to be a temporary boost. LeBron wants to play with his son so Bronny will need to turn pro after one season to join his then-40-year-old father.

I have said the same thing over the years. The voice might change but the breath still smells the same.
Hope all is well with you, GT!
(So Cal doesn’t like when I ask someone how they are doing… Weird!)

Why doesn’t Lebron pay the tuition freeing a scholarship for
another player that could help the front court?

I’m not Mr. Wolf. However, Bronny senior HS season is proof he’s overrated.
“In his senior season, James stepped into a leading role alongside junior Isaiah Elohim and became Sierra Canyon’s top playmaker.[40][41] He was joined on the team by his younger brother, Bryce.[42] In August 2022, he played alongside his Sierra Canyon teammates for CBC in three exhibition games in Europe. In his second game, James led all scorers with 25 points in a 97–85 loss to U18 French Select in Paris.[43] On October 29, James and his team were evacuated from a preseason game against the Hyattsville Stags, a team representing DeMatha Catholic High School, after a fight broke out in the stands and a fan reported seeing a gun. Although no firearms were found, the game was not resumed.[44]”
“After missing the first two regular season games with an illness, James made his senior debut on November 26, recording 13 points, four assists and three rebounds in a 63–60 overtime loss to Rancho Christian School.[45] In his first home game on November 30, he scored 25 points in a 77–61 win over Crossroads School.[46] In January 2023, James missed four games with a knee injury and scored 19 points in his return on February 1 as his team lost to Notre Dame High School, 88–61, at the Mission League semifinals.[47] Sierra Canyon was relegated from the CIF Open Division to Division I after its worst performance in the regular season and Southern Section Open Division playoffs in the tenure of Andre Chevalier.[48][49] James scored 10 points in an 80–68 season-ending loss to Notre Dame High School at the Division I regional final.[50] As a senior, he averaged 14.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game, leading his team to a 23–11 record.[51][52] He was selected to play in the McDonald’s All-American Game and was named to the United States team for the Nike Hoop Summit.[53][54] James finished second in the McDonald’s All-American dunk contestand recorded 15 points in the McDonald’s All-American Game while hitting five three pointers.[55] James in the Nike Hoop Summit game recorded 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and a crucial block leading the United States team to a win . ***This hardly the senior record of an exceptional HS BB player. But the mediocre Bronny will fit like a glove in the bozo U, C- BB program.

UCLA didn’t recruit him for a reason; he wasn’t good enough. Bronny hasn’t played one quarter of bozo bb, and he’s already stated he’s One and Done. He’ll do real well a Clown U.
