USC got a commitment from safety Anquon Fegans from Alabaster, Ala.. He is a Class of 2025 commitment and the top ranked safety by 247Sports for his class.
As usual, it’s worth noting that there is a lot of time before 2025 recruits actually sign a letter of intent.

I can’t see a weakness on that team(offense or defense). Like I said….no more excuses….if they are not in the top 15 in the county on defense, then Grinch has to go….the guy is making a million a year.

parcelman, although there’s been some great additions on D, to improve over 90 spots (ranked 107 in ‘22) would be close to impossible. Probably take 2+ years due to depth alone?
Not sure what the Over/Under would be on D rankings, but I’d put it at 50. Though, I really hope you’re right!

No excuses! They have the players on defense(they don’t have a problem on offense) and they have the first half of the season(6 games) to get them playing as a unit before they start to hit the really tough games…..no excuses.

Under Pete Carroll there was a lot of rah, rah but there wasn’t any excuses……they didn’t need any…..they only lost about 9 games in 9 years. Under Helton there was a lot of rah,rah but a lot of excuses because they never played like a championship team. Under LR, I don’t see a lot of rah,rah but they are starting to look like a championship team. Last year they won 11 games and were just 2 points away from winning 13 games in what should have been a year that you spend rebuilding the culture. But they have players now(on offense and defense)….it’s time to produce. No excuses!

What always amazes me is how the media portrays these juniors from high school are the best players on the planet. The kid has two more years of high school. I’d be happy to see him come, but honestly there are a lot of factors which could change the kid’s mind.
Our defense can’t tackle. That’s a fact. If this fact doesn’t change the season outcome will not change.
USC ticket office called this week and I told the person I only wanted two home games. He said they’re only selling season tickets packages at this time and don’t expect to have single games available this year. But then he said, “You can sell the games you can’t attend, and go to the ones you want for free.” I guess it’s stub hub for me.

Hey Owns, does UCLA (better known as Cal extension West L A) need a practice field still? I hear Santa Monica College may be getting rid of their football program. Chip could convince the chancellor to let y’all practice AND have players take classes since it’s the same level of instruction. Now that would definitely help recruiting!!!

Does the Bel Aire Camp for Wayward Children get extra points for being fake in their “wokeness” why failing to win at beach volleyball? You mention softball but the last time I checked, Tom Brady’s niece and her superfriends were getting their bats handed to them by Oklahoma at the last NCAA officially sanctioned tournament. Didn’t UCwecan’twin used to be dominant in softball? Is there a reason why all the best talent in softball would choose Norman, Oklahoma over Westwood High? Isn’t that the most embarassing thing that such a prestigious school can’t convince natives to play for the hometown program and would rather go play in the sticks and cow pastures? How pathetic is that?
By the way, if you’d stop jacking off to the cheerleader photos, then your crying issues would stop until UCLA plays at the Coliseum again. Remember, Owns, bosses own stadiums, renters pretend to be owners.

After reading the weekend newspaper reports I have to say USC won the weekend. They picked up a commitment from a blue chip recruit and won the national championship in beach volleyball. Not to shabby.
Except the blue chip kid is a junior in high school and will probably continue to be hounded by other programs and beach volleyball is hardly a sport. I understand it’s a physically grueling game and it takes place in skimpy outfits at the professional level, but really it’s soccer for kids who can’t kick.
I figured out a way for Ucla to win the prestigious championship. If they could convince (not hard at a liberal college) Chip Kelly to identify as female and get him into a bikini, not many other teams could concentrate on the game while seeing so much Chip having so much fun. (Like jello in a bounce house)
Now wrestle with that vision while wait for the “morning buzz”
