USC Has Presence At St. John Bosco

USC assistant coaches Donte Williams and Brian Odom are at St. John Bosco’s spring college showcase today.

Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, Washington, Washington State and Fresno State are among the schools also at the showcase.

        You might know him and his name is Brian Panish. He went to loyola and was in my class there. His junior year he got kicked out of loyola because he destroyed Saint John Bosco’s locker room with two others while playing basketball there. The funny thing though is SJB took him in for his senior year. Turns out he becomes a highly lucrative ambulance chaser of an attorney and he is high on the attorney pecking list. He donated $7 million to SJB to redo the field and the field is named Brian Panish Field. Let me know if you have ever heard of him.

      2. PT: I had a few cases against his old firm, Greene Broillet & Panish. He is not an ambulance chaser. All of the cases he handles are worth several millions of dollars. He handled the Michael Jackson Estate case against AEG. Also won big in cases against automobile manufacturers and airlines. He has the reputation as being one of the best personal injury trial lawyers in America. Has won billions of dollars at trial for his clients.

        Maybe he will donate a 100 yard football field to UCLA. He can afford it.

  4. You and I have both mentioned it before, the repeated “Ceasar” comments were the start of his demise. At the time, Wolf thought he was untouchable as a USC beat writer then the Daily News fired his lazy ass. This led to his descent into a third-rate blogger who lost all objective ability to settle on calling balls and strikes within his own strike zone.

    The only value here is the message board and the friendships developed over the years. His nostalgia from decades past is often informative that’s about it.

    I know Brian personally from high school and the work he does. he represented the Simi Valley train wreck, the Pinto problem and other high end cases. he has done very well. I saw him at a funeral about a year ago for a mutual friend from Loyola, at Mother of Councels on Vermont. he gave the eulogy. He could blow smoke back in high school and he can still blow smoke now. However, the eulogy was excellent. I call him a glorified ambulance chaser for knowing him. He is very good though. I saw him where I work and he was flying up to Sacremento to take care of an injured nba player for the Sacaremento Kings. Yes he took care of the Jackson’s and the cases that you mentioned.

    So my question then is, who is better, James Bergner that you hear on the radio or Panish? Let us know if you want. Thank you.
