Does The Pac-12 Still Have Chance At CW?

Is there still a chance the Pac-12 could end up on the CW?

Nexstar CEO Perry Sook said at a media conference the company has had “particularly active conversations” with Power 5 conferences, which is widely believed to be the Pac-12.

It’s a perfect fit when you consider the CW affiliates cut away from the ending of Sunday’s LIV golf tournament in Tulsa. That would have infuriated viewers, if there were any. Imagine that happening in a Pac-12 game. It would be typical.

It’s still believed to be a long shot.

Given that this is the Pac-12, there always a mixed message.

Here is Arizona athletic director Dave Heeke speaking to the Arizona Alumni Magazine.

  1. Wolf…..instead of always asking questions on your blog…..get off the couch and investigate and perhaps the questions get answered….I know it takes you out of your comfort zone….

    1. Wolf should investigate why WordPress hasn’t removed you for making threats of physical violence against posters here.

      1. If November football in Indiana is going to work out just fine, then why did SC move the ND game at South Bend to mid October 64 years ago after decades of futility?

  3. Ah, Cal. Glad to see your back to being fun and feisty. Too bad your alma mater will kill all male sports because of the need to reduce the stigma and legacy of overt masculinity creating a toxic culture for the LBGTQ+ students. I, for one will celebrate the demise of the Pac 10 and their irrelevant adults. Klivacrap is taking the ivory tower to Las Vegas. Truly comedy. $25 million a year, thanks SMU and SDSU!

  4. Scooter,

The uofa ad has no say in the matter, even if SC leaves. See, while they have been in the conference since 1978, for 45 years this fall, they have never won or lost in the rose bowl game because they have never been to one. They have no say in the matter. They are lucky that they aren’t back in the WAC.

  5. Scooter,

If things keep going the way they are for the PAC 12 in terms of tv exposure, do not be suprised to see games at 1:00 A.M. Saturday morning on KOCE, the Public TV station in San Bernardino. That is about a good a deal that they will get.
