Joelle Trepagnier, the daughter of former USC basketball player Jeff Trepagnier and ex-Trojan sprinter Malika Edmonson, had a big day at the California State Track and Field championships.
The Culver City High School sprinter won the 200 meters (23.62); ran a 52.11-second anchor lap to give the Centaurs the victory in the 4×400 relay and finished second in the 400 meters with a time of 53.55.
- Oregon defeated Arizona, 5-4, in the championship game of the Pac-12 Baseball Tournament.
- This high school baseball game in New York ended in heartbreaking fashion for team that thought it won the championship.

Heartbreaker, and similar to last night when Miami came from 9 points down with less than 3 minutes to go, and went ahead with 3 free throws on a fouled 3-pointer with 3 seconds to play, only to then lose it on a missed shot but a put-back with .1 seconds.
History is about to be made with a team coming from 0-3 and winning it after 150 straight failures. Amazing!

Wow baseball rules are confusing. Why were both teams wearing red? Anyway I kept seeing Korn Fairy being bandied about in the previous post and wondered if Ed G. leaves cobs under his pillow when he needs more korn?
