Here’s some great color of video of USC-UCLA games, starting with the Trojans’ 46-44 upset in 1969.
Here is a USC-UCLA game from 1972.
Here is a 1972 USC practice interview with Bob Boyd, Bill Boyd, Mike Westra, Vic Kelly, Biff Burrell, Danny Anderson and Monroe Nash.
They call the 46-44 the Stall Game but yet it is not that far off from the usual college basketball score

Wolf, why show that 1972 game at Pauley where the halftime score was 45 Yucla and 25 SC, a score I endured too often out at Pauley

The guy paid his dues for 16 years as an assistant at Mater Dei, his boss finally retires and in his only year wins a championship, then gets bumped out of the school because he didn’t play backups enough?– This cannot be the reason for the firing
This Mater Dei football is college-lite so maybe the second string parents saw possible scholarships go a-wasting
