USC just announced changes to its graduation ceremony next month.
“Given the highly publicized circumstances surrounding our main-stage commencement program, university leadership has decided it is best to release our outside speakers and honorees from attending this year’s ceremony. We’ve been talking to this exceptional group and hope to confer these honorary degrees at a future commencement or other academic ceremonies.”
So no commencement speaker. No honorary degree recipients. Will Carol Folt speak? How much security will there be now?
REACTION: The university is (once again) in full-on disaster mode. USC turned its graduation into a national issue and now it’s releasing all dignitaries from a potentially embarrassing environment.
USC made a mountain out of a mole hill.
Exactly how many people would have come and protested if USC had allowed its valedictorian to speak without any publicity? A lot less than after USC made a formal announcement banning the speaker went viral.
They should bring Will Ferrell back and just have him do a comic act if the protestors get too loud.

Looks like the Spring game airs at 12pm on the PAC12 network. They are giving Las Vegas the middle finger and giving us the Oregon St. game instead. We have to wait until 8pm to get the re-broadcast. ….. disappointed!

A two-year-old could’ve done the background check on bum. Can you imagine if she said that someone with gender dysphoria has no right to exist? They would’ve tarred and feathered her and then booted her from the school and then petitioned to have her stand trial for a capital offense.

Right Marylin. Five times since 1938 Israel has proposed a two state solution to the Palestinians. According to Bill Clinton the proposals of land to Palestine were incredibly generous but rejected and Mr. Clinton asked Yassir Arafat what he wanted from Israel. His response: voluntarily leave the land or be annihilated. But you don’t hear much reporting on the proposals or Mr. Arafat’s response in the media or on college campuses. Why? Because Israel is richer and militarily stronger and the narrative says that the richer and stronger are always the bullies.
