USC Academic Senate Censures Carol Folt
USC’s academic senate voted to censure President Carol Folt and Provost Andrew Guzman on Wednesday, citing “widespread dissatisfaction and concern among the faculty” about USC’s handling of recent problems that have dominated the news on campus. The academic senate is the representative body of the faculty. The censure vote was 21-7. The Academic Senate tabled a vote of no confidence against Folt and Guzman.
