USC Gets Probation For One Year For Rules Infraction

USC has been given one year of probation and fined $50,000 fine for having 8 analysts engage in coaching activities that happened in 2022 and 2023. The NCAA found Lincoln Riley violated head coach responsibility rules but because some violations occurred before Jan. 2023 rules changes and because he wasn’t personally involved and promoted an atmosphere of compliance, he will not be suspended. John Robinson, One Of USC’s Most Successful Coaches, Dies

Former USC coach John Robinson, who was one of the greatest football coaches in Trojan history has died of pneumonia in Baton Rouge, La. He was 89. Robinson went 104-35-4 at USC and was 8-1 in bowl games. He coached at USC from 1976-1982 and again from 1993-1997.
