USC Saturday Notes: Track Wins (And Then Loses) Big Ten Title In Crazy Day

USC narrowly defeated Oregon, 107.5-106, for the Big Ten men’s indoor track title Saturday. Oregon led 106-99.5 with one event left but USC scored 8 points in the 4×400 relay while the Ducks scored zero points.

And then the fun started.

A protest was filed and USC was disqualified in the 4×400 relay, so the Trojans received 0 points and lost the Big Title to the Ducks, 106-99.5.

It’s got to be a bitter pill for the Trojans in Indianapolis.

The USC women finished third.

  • The big USC-UCLA rematch in women’s basketball is tonight at 6 and will be on Fox.
  • USC lost to Oregon, 82-61, in men’s basketball and will need to win one of its final two games to make the Big Ten Tournament.
  • USC seems to have a few creepy superfans these days. Where is the current-day Gypsy Boots?

        The Narcissist’s Airtight Victim Narrative

        From Psychology Today March 2023:

        KEY POINTS

        1. Exaggerated victimhood is a common feature of narcissistic grandiosity.

        2. Narcissistic personalities often feel victimized because of their unrealistic expectations, hypersensitivity, and lack of empathy.

        3. Narcissists also play the victim to elicit sympathy and avoid responsibility for their abusive behavior.

See Gabby’s claim of victimhood below. Lack of empathy, abusive behavior, it all fits. And of course he has now taken over the blog so that he is the center of attention, the most obvious narcissist personality trait.
