Lincoln Riley Finally Hires A Special Teams Coach

Lincoln Riley is finally going to hire a veteran special teams coach . . . after four years.

Mike Ekeler, who was USC’s linebackers coach in 2013, is being hired from Nebraska to coach special teams according to CBS Sports.

Before Nebraska, Ekeler was outside linebackers coach and special teams coordinator at Tennessee.

So this should be a step up for the special teams. Hopefully for USC’s sake.

  1. wolfman, I’m sure you agree that the only shocker in the new point shaving scandal is that no Southern Cal players were named! I mean the school that hatch ed snaled like OJ and Mr Teggie would seem the likely recruiting ground for the gamblers! Score one for Muscle-Man!
