Pete Carroll Will Be Hanging Around USC In Fall

Pete Carroll said in an interview with 247 that he intends to teach a class at USC for the fall semester.

“I’m done coaching,” Carroll said. “I’m looking forward to the class we’ll do at USC in the fall. I’m finished (coaching). I should have done it the year before.

“Unfortunately, I had to wind up as the oldest coach in the history of the NFL. That’s not something I’m real proud of. That’s not one of my favorite stats.”

  1. Man I really doubt he’s done coaching…..that’s all he knows and why back here? He’d be far wiser to move on with being one of only 3 coaches to have won a college football Ntl Champ and a Super Bowl.

    1. Hate to say it —but Brady’s refusal to let Pete go with Sam Darnold sunk Pete’s boat….

    1. So true —When I asked him, Achilles told me he definitely would have run White too — and have Wilson throw a bad pass into coverage….

    1. Pete told me, “I started getting nervous with so many people judging me on the sidelines —I think I’d feel safer & more secure in front of two or three hundred fans at the Rose Bowl”….
