There’s A USC-Related Book Tour Going On, In Case You Didn’t Know

Former USC president Max Nikias is a on a book tour. He went to the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda on Monday night.

The event was hosted and sponsored by USC trustee Stephanie Argyros and the Argyros Family Foundation, who bought books for all attendees. Nikias said more than 200 people were in attendance.

This begs the question: Is anyone actually buying the book?

  • The Utah-Stanford game has been moved to Sept. 4 and will be on ESPN directly opposite the USC-Fresno State game on Fox. I can’t say the USC game sounds more appealing, at this point.

  1. The USC game doesn’t need to be more appealing. There’s a cool little thing called a remote that allows me to bounce back & forth. Whenever one goes to a commercial, I’ll flip to the other game.

No one walks around thinking about Fauci. He was the subject of a Congressional hearing YESTERDAY. Hopefully, his corruption & deceit leads to a nice stint in prison.

Just put him on the witness stand and inject him with his virus that he invented. Give him three shots of it and don’t give him any medication to ward it off. See how he likes it if he survives.

  2. Niklas left a trail of scandals one after another because of his refusal to manage conflicts leading to horrible outcomes..the perverted gynecologist….the corrupt medical complex admin….varsity blues….refusal to vacate home in San Marino…his one redeeming skill was raising money.

Holt was akin to Ford after Nixon or maybe Carter is more accurate. All that anyone had to know about her was her mandate she be addressed as ‘President’.

Most, not all, Chancellors/Presidents/Dean’s/Chief of Police etc. are glad handers …enjoy the good life with lots of perks and very little hard decision making.

The task of choosing one over the other reminds me of that great line from “Salt Of The Earth” by The Stones

“…a choice of cancer or polio.”

    Good riddance to them both…

    1. Yes, Nikias was a fundraiser. He wanted to increase the prestige of the university with more buildings and high profile professors. Folt was an idealist. She wanted a globalist university with lots of Red Chinese students. She fully embraced DEI in hiring and admissions. Nixed SAT scores as a criterium in admissions in favor of a “holistic” approach which favored Blacks and Hispanics over native born Asians and Whites in violation of the antidiscrimination laws. She did a lot of damage to the university that will be difficult to repair. In short, she diluted the value of a USC degree and also lowered campus cohesion and morale. USC lost their identity under her reign.

      1. Great reply plow about Folt….I had no idea what a lib-tard harpie she was….and, as usual, anything a demoncrat touches turns to ‘%$*&’.

Having said that Nikias didn’t care about staff as shown by his stone cold refusal to meet and confront problems thus they metastasized until they led to a Folt. Nikias only wanted the fun and power of the office. Again good riddance.

        Nikias gave us Folt

  3. It seems likely that ex-SC President Nikias’ book about his exciting times at SC is of interest to some Trojans, but certainly not all. Besides, for most alums their college is just ‘football-or-bust.’ Who has time for anything else-

    1. Well Sparrow, you have billionaire communist donors to the Democratic party such as Singham and Soros who have openly stated that America is too strong and must be weaken. They do everything they can to help elect DA who are committed to fomenting chaos by not enforcing the law. Under their regime, sanctuary cities were formed, property crimes up to $900 were not enforced, people could openly camp or trespass on others property, open air drug markets and prostitution were rampant. They replaced the three strikes laws with no cash bail. These DAs were elected in LA, SF, NYC, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, and St. Louis. And look at the result – virtually unlivable conditions in many parts of our largest cities with those with money fleeing to Red states. This is why Spencer Pratt’s mayoral campaign has struck a chord even with the the Hollywood leftists. Yes, people will get heated about politics when it comes to defending our country against the communists such as Mundani who run under the Democrat ticket and they should get emotional. Western Civilization is at stake.

  5. DON: I got to tell you, China knows how to put on the ‘pomp-and-circumstance,’ precise with warmth. But really the only thing Xi and I agreed on was that the Strait of Hormuz “must remain open.”

KAM: The question is how ‘open’?–Certainly Iran is not giving up its supposed control of the Strait without some kind of a compromise. They’re going to want something big out of all this. Maybe Xi can help mediate with them

    1. The oil storage capacity on Kharg Island is at its maximum. If the pumps are turned off, it will be difficult to reactivate them. This represents 90% of Iran’s oil production. It is the main source of their wealth and the clock is ticking. The pumps will need to be turned off any day now and the Iranian economy, what is left of it, will totally and perhaps forever collapse. Time is on our side although you would not know it by listening to CNN or any of the other Fake News stations.
