Most former USC players are not happy with the cancellation of the Notre Dame series.
Among those who have spoken out is radio host Sean Salisbury: “Both universities should be ashamed of themselves. I don’t care whose fault it is. I’m not cutting my university any slack on this. We should never have been to this point.”
That’s a much stronger take than another former USC QB (Matt Leinart).
- The Sparks announced they will honor former USC basketball player Lisa Leslie with a statue outside Crypto.com arena It will be unveiled Sept. 20.
- Here is the rest of my offensive depth chart. There could still be some movement in training camp or flipping of positions but these are the core players.
And I still think the offensive line is a question mark although most media view it favorably.

How about the Terry Donahue ? Made from pounded taro root, this fermented, pastel-like starch is known for a thick, gummy texture, sour taste, and aroma that some compare to paste or sour glue
Or the John Wooden ??? A stew-like dish made with spinach-like luau leaves, coconut milk, and squid/octopus, often criticized for having a slimy texture and fishy, metallic taste.
Or the Bruin Softball Team ? This chilled layered pie consists of a base of chocolate pudding and whipped cream topping, and in between, there is a layer of haupia (a gelatinous coconut pudding made with coconut milk, cornstarch, and sugar). The pie also contains an outer shell, a pie crust that’s baked until golden brown. Before serving, this Hawaiian staple is usually garnished with chocolate shaving over the whipped cream topping. Haupia pie can be found as a signature dish at most coffee shops and bakeries in Hawaii.
Or the Red Sanders aka Dirty Monkey ?? A mix of rum, Kahlua, banana liqueur, cream of coconut, and chocolate syrup. It often tastes like a banana split mixed with a piña colada, which can be far too rich, sweet, and heavy.

A shame that Becerra is now ahead in the polls.
Going to be interesting to see if CA is stupid enough to go with more of the same, that has gotten us here for the better part of the last 20 years!

Killian O’ Connor is too small for major college football.
Move Tobias Raymond now the backup center to the starting center, and slide in Kennyi Pepe to replace Raymond at guard. Pepe, is probably the key recruit USC has needed on the offensive line for a long time, and should start right away he is that good.

I see Tobias Raymond’s weight being reported at anywhere between 270 lbs and 315 lbs…

I actually like Killian at C. He may not play at the next level, but his football smarts are off the charts. It was noticed when he went out with the injury against Illinois. His being limited in spring probably sets up his recovery for playing this season pretty well. But that said, we do have talent behind him in Tobias Raymond, who is definitely not in the J’Onre Reed mold, but who has not yet played any snaps at center. Kennyi Pepe is a beast, and might very well be the best of our latest recruiting class, and I think he will get his playing time soon enough.

Agree that we should probably stick with O’Conner. Center can be a tough position to just plug and play. Justin Dedich was a better guard than center. Jason Monheim was a better tackle than center.
I think Elijah Vaikona may start. He is huge – 6’8′ and 365 lbs. and is quick for his size. The Penn State transfer said that Vaikona is his toughest match-up. “He’s too big to run through and hard to run around. I haven’t been able to figure him out.” He also looked good in very limited playing time last year.

Those are a lot of freshmen backing up the first string linemen. They may be talented but the offensive line as a whole takes time to develop
If SC just took care of business and was competitive in October at Notre Dame the Trojans would not have been asking for a change to September

KAM: CLAUDINE LONGET, CHANTEUSE AND ACTRESS WHOSE CAREER ENDED WHEN SHE SHOT HER LOVER, DIES AGE 84. She played the female lead, opposite Peter Sellers, in Blake Edwards’s 1968 film The Party, but she was best known for her appearances on the weekly television show hosted by her husband, Andy Williams.
She was, in Williams’s words, “a beautiful, athletic, slender, petite brunette with large doe eyes”. From her spouse’s side, she radiated a mixture of glamour and wholesome domesticity. On the set of Williams’s famous Christmas specials, she would cast protective glances towards the couple’s young children as they unwrapped parcels under the studio tree.
But few stars have made the journey from idol to pariah quite so swiftly and irreversibly as Claudine Longet who, on the afternoon of March 21 1976, s h o t her lover, the champion downhill skier Spider Sabich, with a .22 h a n d g u n at their chalet in Aspen, Colorado.

Yes! It’s a good thing OJ remained innocent after his trial.
LikeLike
So Cal: The all Black jury in Los Angeles did not find that OJ was innocent. They found that the prosecution failed to prove that he was guilty in accordance with the “beyond a reasonable doubt” standard applied in criminal cases.
In the civil case in Santa Monica, the jury found that OJ killed his wife and Ron Goldman by a “preponderance of evidence” standard. Further, they found that he acted with “actual malice” toward his victims in accordance with a “clear and convincing” evidence standard and awarded punitive damages against him.
At best you can say OJ was acquitted of the murder charge in the criminal case. No jury found that he was innocent – i.e. did not commit the crimes. To the contrary, the civil jury found that he did commit two counts of murder and the evidence offered in support of the verdict was clear and convincing.

Plow Horse, as many others, still doesn’t get it.
In this country, you are innocent until proven guilty. He was NOT found guilty, therefore REMAINS innocent.
I know millions of people don’t like that. But it’s a simple fact.

So Cal: I don’t get it? Innocence and acquittal are not interchangeable terms. Juries acquit criminal defendants everyday in cases where they believe the defendant likely committed the crime but the evidence did not reach a “beyond a reasonable doubt” standard.
You say ” Wagner, Blake, Spector and other white guys who have killed their women . . .” Really? Wagner was never charge with the murder of his wife and Blake was acquitted of the charge and yet you say they are killers why maintaining that OJ was somehow found innocent by a jury – i.e that he did not kill his wife. That is simply not true.

I should have known it was you with the first post above. The real Plow Horse never would have stated this: “The civil jury found that he did commit two counts of murder.”
Plow Horse is an attorney and is smart enough to know the civil jury never had anything to do with two counts of murder. Those are criminal charges.

KAM: Yale’s use of race resulted in a Black Medical School applicant being as much as 29 times higher odds of getting an interview for admission than an equally strong Asian applicant with similar academic credentials.
DON: This overt racism would be bad enough in ordinary university admissions. It is made so much worse by the fact that it’s a prestigious medical school that trains the doctors we will one day trust with our lives. I wonder is USC does the same thing in the name of DEI?

Not good when the press gives USC Baseball and Great Head Coach Andy Stankiewicz little recognition. Coach Andy should be the NCAA Baseball Coach of the Year! What a job he has done re-building the USC Baseball Program even without a home stadium for two years.
The USC Baseball team reflects the Character of the Coach. Andy, was a very gutty little player, and this team played like it last night in beating Oregon on the Road in extra innings. Two up in the standings on Oregon one more win clinches hosting a regional in the NCAA Tournament with a 42-12 record.
Can this team make it to Omaha.? With Coach Andy we have a chance, but clearly this team needs stronger No.2, and No.3 starting pitching.
USC now has a top baseball program again. USC should extend Coach Andy’s contract until he wants to retire NOW. Although AD Mike Bohn made alot of mistakes during his tenure at USC he deserves an applause for making 1 good hire, and that was Andy Stankiewicz who is one of the best in college baseball today.
See you in Omaha soon!!! Might not be this year, but it’s coming soon under Coach Andy. Wrap it up boys tonight with another win over the Ducks in Eugene!
