UPDATED: USC leads Texas A&M, 9-2, in the sixth inning tonight behind a grand slam by Andrew Lamb.

  • USC leads Texas State, 7-0, in the fourth inning, highlighted by a grand slam from Kevin Takeuchi.

*USC wins 15-4.

The Trojan play Texas A&M at 6 p.m. PT. The game is currently scheduled to be on the dreaded ESPN+.

Who will pitch for USC? And then USC would need to play A&M again tomorrow if it wins tonight. Ugh.

— No. 1-ranked UCLA has lost to Saint Mary’s and was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament. Incredible.

  1. UCLA baseball is like that Roger Dodger Team that compiled the best record in baseball only to get eliminated in their initial post season appearance ….

  2. ESPN is reporting instances of cannibalism on the UCLA team bus — UCLA officials are downplaying things, saying “there are no universal taboos anymore”…..

  3. Congratulations to one of my new favorite teams the St. Mary’s Gaels baseball team, for eliminating the pretenders, oops meant the UGLI’s. Congratulations to our baseball team for handily beating Texas State and Texas A & M today. Need one more win tomorrown to make the super regionals. They played over their heads today with third and fourth pitchers. MG, I would call the A & M win an over the head win. Anyone notice how many of our men and women made it to the NCAA track and field finals. With our sprinters and throwers we have a shot at both men’s and women’s championships. Congratulations to all of our student athletes and their coaches for highly competitive seasons with potential championships. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962

    1. This was definitely an over the head job!

      For sure!

      #FightOn!

      P. S.

I wanna see another one in late September when we play Oregon at the Coliseum.

      That would feel so good!

  4. USC smashes Texas AM in baseball tonight forces a final game tomorrow tonight for the Regional Championship.

Coach Andy Stankiewicz deserves National Coach of the Year for this remarkable performance today smashing both Texas State and A & M in one day.

It’s going to be tough to advance as I said all season long USC is short 1 or 2 starting pitchers from winning it all this season, but all in all the program is headed in a very direction on Coach Andy. Pitching depth is the key to winning a National Championship in baseball

Wonderful day UCLA baseball and Women’s Softball choke again despite having superior talent.

  5. KAM: FINAL: Texas A&M 3, USC 14

USC takes care of business by handing Texas A&M its first loss of the College Station Regional to force Game 2, winner-takes-all on Monday 6PM PST.

DON: The Trojans recorded 17 hits, including two home runs, and 14 RBI against the Aggies, while also holding the Maroon and White to nine hits and just three runs.

SC guy: Yeah, but No. 30 is the only one that counted

ucla guy: Still, over 50 wins on the year says we’re great

SC guy: I’ll ask St. Mary’s about that

Massive resources have been poured in by outside NGOs funded by D e m o c r a t billionaires, foundations, Neville Singham, and the Chinese Communist Party. Protesters from around the country have assembled there, expensive riot gear provided to the activists, and even scripts given to selected spokespeople to push out a carefully constructed message.

As in Minnesota, local politicians and the Fake News Media have been backing the rioters, insisting that they are only using their First Amendment right to protest, even if that means assaulting officers, lighting fires, stealing from local businesses, dismantling public property to turn the rubble into weapons, and demanding that officers kill themselves, or threatening to kill them and their families.

DON: Cowardly Sparrow Gabby ignores fundamentals: – US military superiority – Iran’s economic fragility – Strengthened defense industry – Global dependence on US security. Strategically, the US is degrading its adversary and strengthening its war economy.
