USC Saturday Buzz: The Coliseum Is The Place To Be

Safe to say the fan fest at the Coliseum is a big hit. Here is the scene during last night’s USA-Paraguay game.

I’ll say it again: When does a USC game at the Coliseum have this energy?

  • The USC men’s track and field team finished 10th at the NCAA championships on Friday. The USC women’s team is currently in ninth place with 15 of the 21 events still to go today.

  1. KAM: As previously mentioned, there is nothing like a World Cup soccer crowd

DON: It might also be a cultural phenomena– The Mexican people and Hispanics in general are a rather firey, passionate people

  2. KAM:The demographic cliff is here.

Syracuse offered students significant discounts to attend but still ended up under-enrolled. The university has already offered buyouts to 175 professors and closed 93 majors.

DON: And the pop. of 18-year-olds “will decline for the next 15 years.”

    1. I had no idea Gabby – good post

Incredible reality hitting these overpriced schools that rely on foreign enrollees and now no more open F-1/M-1 visa green light. Now couple that with American students waking up to the overpriced cost for a worthless liberal arts degree riddled with Marxist-Fascist worldview ta da – free fall. SYR is just the beginning…Harvard is bellyaching about the ‘quality’ of entering students – dumb it down and now no foreign students to offset the ‘woke’ illiterates courtesy of the demoncratiche elites.
Thankfully Folt got fired and that bum Geoffrey Garrett was publicly sacked – maybe there is hope at USC not so sure about the UC undergraduate system….
