Morning Buzz: The World Cup And USC Have Similarities

With the World Cup grabbing all the attention, and Brazil crashing out of the tournament, it’s a good time to remember that some compared USC to Brazil before the tournament.

Two teams that have won a lot of titles but haven’t won anything for more than 20 years. Iconic uniforms. Good at underperforming. Full of tradition. Plenty of swagger. Fans think they are better than they really are.

The similarities are endless.

  • The iconic Heisman House, which is located in Pasadena, is for sale and listed at $32 million. Maybe USC can tender an offer since it sold its presidential mansion in San Marino and needs a new official residence.

  1. ACCORDING TO A SOURCE, SCOTT WAS SPOTTED GOING DOWN THE ROAD ON HIS MOPED, SPORTING HIS FAVORITE 30-YEAR-OLD SOILED SOCCER JERSEY WITH A TRASH BAG OF ALUMINUM HANGING OFF THE BACK

…..I wrote some wonderful things about Nancy Pelosi and Kristi Noem yesterday….insightful comments concerning their respective husbands and breast sizes….and the “Moderator” robbed my friends of the opportunity to revel in them….

      1. can’t believe voters turned on Nancy Mace, the top MILF in congress and a crusader against billionaire PEEDOS, headlined by the peedo mentioned over 30,000 times in Epstien’s notes. Republicans have huge issues with any Cult member who tells the truth.

  2. KAM: So the opinion is that Brazil soccer and SC football have in common that neither has won anything in more than 20-years and both have fans who think they are better than they really are

DON: Well, 20-years between championships is not that long of a wait, and it helps the ego to think you are better than you really are

    1. Fans at the beginning of every season say, “THIS IS THE YEAR! WE’RE GOING TO WIN IT ALL!”

Every 20 or 30 years, they get it right! They walk around telling everyone, “I told you! I knew they were going to do it this year!”

Completely dismissing all the other years they got it wrong.

      1. From the person who can never admit all the times she’s gotten it wrong! ROTFLMAO!!

At least she admitted that. One time she’s actually been honest.

      1. To paraphrase Gerald Ford when he replaced Nixon –
“…our national nightmare is over…” man if that doesn’t fit this US soccer team baloney I don’t know what does…only ones watching it were illegal aliens and foreigners….good riddance.

  6. what a world, wolfman. we have now confirmed via the NYT that the worlds richest man has directly caused the deaths of nearly one MILLION poor people (mostly babies) by recklessly dismantling USAID which provided AIDS prevention & emergency food to world’s most desperate regions. one extra perverted detail: warehouses full of life-saving food supplements (already paid for and ready to ship) rotted in warehouses while children died grueling deaths. Musk and the Big Peedo should never walk down a street again without this shameful act being screamed at them by the public. unfukingbelievable.

      2. MickeyG are you high? the story was all over the press today i would hardly say “very few others” see it that way. how exactly is the story incorrect? the result was predicted at the time USAID was dismantled. i am boggled someone would dispute the tragic folly of this DOGE cut. Musk will face justice one way or the other.
