Since everyone is hyping USC men’s basketball for next season, here’s a radical thought: How about Eric Musselman create a non-conference schedule worthy of a top 15 program?
So far, USC is scheduled to play two teams in Coachella Valley in Novemeber. The potential opponments are Arizona State, LSU, SMU, South Carolina and Utah State.
UCLA just agreed to a new three-year seies with Duke. Why can’t USC get an opponent like that? USC is ranked higher right now than UCLA, after all.
This has been a problem for years. Even when USC coaches say they have their best team, they don’t schedule marquee programs. They won’t play teams that might draw a big crowd. Well, Musselman has a chance to change that.
You can’t say that about Lindsey Gottlieb. She plays UConn and South Carolina.
- The trial of former USC QB Mark Sanchez was due to begin on Monday. It has been continued, for the fifth time, to September 8.
Men’s BB needs to get into the playoffs by winning at least 20 games each year and then beat the best teams in the playoffs. Why be concerned about top teams during the season….we have plenty of tough teams in the Big Ten coming to Galen. A winning team is a draw not the USC opponent except for UGLA. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962

Cocaine, fentanyl and marijuana, combined with alcohol can have that effect.

KAM: In April 2006, while a freshman at USC, Mark Sanchez was arrested on suspicion of assault by a female student; prosecutors later declined to file charges in June 2006 due to “insufficient evidence.”
DON: Mark was always “troubled”. This is no surprise. Because he was good at football everyone looked the other way or enabled him.

Never did anything nearly as bad, but…
They overlooked any minor flaws I had, because I was a phenomenal tuba player. Those of us who are incredibly good looking & talented get away with more than unattractive, less talented people. 😜
