USC is ranked No. 14 in the Football Writers Assn. of America Top 16 preseason poll.
Look at all the voters who left USC off their ballots completely:
Zach Barnett of FootballScoop, Chip Brown of Horns247, Ryan Fowler of Tide 100.9 FM, Ron Higgins of the Shreveport-Bossier Journal, former Michigan player Mark Messner, Max Olson of ESPN, Connor O’Neill of Deacons Illustrated, Scott Springer of the Cincinnati Enquirer, former Northwest Missouri State coach Mel Tjeerdsma, John Wagner of the Toledo Blade, Chris Williams of Cyclone Fanatic and former Notre Dame player Chris Zorich did not vote for the Trojans.
Remember, this is a top 16 poll and not Top 25.
Conversely, Steve Helwagen of Bucknets Media Network has USC ranked No. 6, former Pittsburgh player Mark May has USC No. 8 and former Illinois player David Williams has USC No. 9.
Enough commentary already. Let the games begin

KAM: Did you hear about USC grad Karen Bass’s solution for homelessness?
DON: Yes she asked that film productions give jobs to homeless people—that this “would really help her out.”

Engineer Bill had a game where you drank milk on the green light and stopped drinking on the red light. My next door neighbor Teri Schneider drank so fast milk came out her nose…and blamed it on me.

Joe Medicine Crown born 1913 died 2016.

When USC renamed the Von KleinSmid Center (VKC) building it 2022, it changed the name to the Dr. Joseph Medicine Crow Center for International and Public Affairs (DMC). Thanks for passing along the video.

KAM: I had to be convinced, but now I know Scott Wolf is intervening. Well, welcome Mr. Wolf nice to see you
DON: And Mr. Wolf can check back on everything we have written about him, not an insult in there

KAM: Good, now that we got that taken care of, this Dodgers’ slump is giving other teams hope
DON: They had a little bit of bad luck too, still, it makes you wonder about their chances at a 3rd one

KAM: If only SC hadn’t broken up the Pac-12, they were one of the big fish in the pond and had a better chance at the Playoffs
DON: SC was persuaded by about a $40-million difference, one of those ‘too good to pass up financial deals
KAM: And the heck with the collateral damage like long flights
