USC Needs To Up Its Shirt Game

School is about to start but the USC Bookstore has some uninspiring shirts for sale. Not exactly upping its game for the fall.

  1. The T-Shirt with our 2026 schedule could be a joy or joke to wear in December.

btw, I am always happy when the paywall goes up on a New York Times article cuz I get to say, “That’s good —I didn’t wanna read this piece of sh*t column anyway.”

    1. KAM: Scott, can you block this Cowardly Gabby person’s IP address? The constant violent threats, impersonations of real posters and obscene political rants have no place in a USC sports blog. Please, do the right thing and make this blog respectable again

      DON: Thank You!

  2. Good night Scott is right…those shirts look pathetic….beef up the ‘cardinal color’.. get rid of that weak ‘maroon’ tint and the pasty yellow custard hue….add that to the cheesy graphics… it’s new cloths for some girls high school car wash fundraiser.

Stick with black… deep red and yellow

  3. KAM: –And you’re still talking about running again for president

DON: God willing I’m still alive. It’s all theory anyway, Kam

  4. DON: What’s all that got to do with sports?

KAM: Nothing. But only 16-days until kickoff. Can’t wait to see what kind of ‘Frankenstein’ Wiley and Patterson are working on

  5. KAM: But land alive, the pressure to win for these players must be overwhelming

DON: Don’t forget the coaches. Their jobs are in the hands of teenagers and 20ish

  6. KAM: Someone said that football is a “toxic masculine culture”

DON: Why would someone say that– just because football is a game of constant collisions

  7. DON: For Wiley and Patterson this season is all about their football reputations and legacies

DON: Patterson wants to prove that he still has it, and Wiley wants to reestablish his heyday when taking Oklahoma to 3 in a row ‘Championship games

  8. DON: In analyzing why SC has suffered so many 4th quarter losses when being ahead, the offense scores just enough points to possibly win, but then with time running out it turns the game over to its defense

KAM: Wiley has always been offensive and now he has someone to plug up the holes in the dike

  9. I have to agree with Scott about the T-shirts. The top one looks like a $5.00 knock off, the middle one is a walking billboard, and the bottom on looks more like a Michigan State Spartan than a USC Trojan. Are these Nike products? Fans who purchase Trojan gear need to know. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962.

    1. Instead of drily publishing the schedule —boldly predict the scores on the damn t-shirt [USC 48, Oregon 28, USC 51, Ohio State 21….that kind of thing]…

      1. My Personal Opinion:

It would be fun to wear a t-shirt like that even if every prediction turned out to be wrong…

      2. Do one with Scott’s predictions and they could reverse the scores. Something for everybody. We should be able to defeat a duck and a nut and a hoosier, whoever that is…the only one that may be tough is the Nittany Lion which I assume is just another mountain lion. Thanks for the suggestion MG. Fight on, Dan, Class of 1962

  10. KAM: It’s fun to watch bruins being so giddy in the preseason

DON: And then watch their smug smiles turn to frowns
