        We’ll know after Oregon’s first drive how USC is approaching the game. We can’t stop their receivers from catching the ball. But after each catch they have to be tackled immediately …

  4. KAM: I noticed numbers 56 and 79 were the only ones wearing juiceboxes, and I believe they never see the field

    DON: If it didn’t look so hokey it’s not a bad idea as a reminder that ‘You are not putting enough juice into this game’

    KAM: Between the spearing and the silly boxes on their heads, well, this is not your midwest-type football team

  8. DON: I expect the SC-Washington game to feature the 2 quarterbacks Williams and Maiava, may the better man win

    KAM: This game won’t have the same intensity as Oregon where the SC fans were so loud and really into in the first moments of the 4th quarter

  9. DON: SC’s chances of a Playoff berth got slimmer. Now they cannot lose to both Ohio St and Indiana or they are out

    KAM: That of course assumes they win the rest of their games where they will be favored or not large underdogs

  11. KAM: I notice how a Yankees’ crowd seems more passionate about their team than Dodgers’ fans, there were a lot of Yankees jumping up and down yesterday

    DON: It might be a Back East thing and of course we’ve had the Yankees since forever

    1. KAM: ESPN is in mourning after their beloved Black Sox lost again.

      DON: It was fun watching the Yankees pound them after the dumb manager took out the Red Sox ace in the 5th inning.

  12. This isn’t good, Trojans. The McKay family is seeking an injunction against USC using the McKay name in connection with the football team. The Alfred Newman Estate is seeking an injunction preventing the Trojan band from playing “Conquest.”

    To make matters worse, the descendants of Priam, Hector and Paris have filed lawsuits requesting the court to prevent USC from using the name “Trojans.”
