These are the type of games that show why Clay Helton needs to go. He takes his team up to Boulder and needs fourth-quarter heroics from Michael Pittman and Kedon Slovis to beat mediocre Colorado. USC’s defense was soft and could not contain the edge. Slovis fumbled several times but Colorado never recovered. It was a bad Pac-12 game but USC is supposed to be … Continue reading Discuss The USC-Colorado Game
Steven Montez never recovered from that concussion. Kedon Slovis again finds Michael Pittman for a TD pass and it’s 35-31, Trojans. Kedon Slovis finds Michael Pittman for a 44-yard TD pass. Colorado 31, USC 28. End of third quarter: Colorado 31, USC 21. Graham Harrell‘s offense is pretty much a nothing burger for first three quarters. The Dolphins went 17-0 with those backs. I said this before the emergence of Kenan Christon. USC makes a great comparison with Markese Stepp (Csonka), Christan (Morris) and Vavae Malepeai (Kiick). The problem is USC hasn’t played 2 of 3 that much. … Continue reading USC’s Backfield Just Needed Some Talent Evaluation
